Non Tournament Match:Balls Mahoney won a 10-man battle royal, lastly eliminating Danny Demanto, for the right to wrestle Gene Snitsky in a loser goes through a door match. The losers of this match would be any fan who left through the doors for a piss break!
SECOND ROUND TOURNAMENT RESULTS:Jay Lethal d. Devon Moore in a first-time ever match between these two area stars
Gavin Quest d. Nicky Oceans after wrestling to a time limit draw. The fans asked for five more minutes which went to another draw. Joe Panzarino declared the fans would pick the winner. The fans picked Quest. Quest said he didn't want to win the tournament that way. Quest asked for five more minutes. Quest went on to defeat Oceans in another OT period to advance.
Gene Snitsky defeated Balls Mahoney in a loser goes through a door match with assistance from Danny Demanto. Gino Moore said he was sick of Demanto interfering all the time so he booked him in a match with Hardcore Bob Holly on 5/30. Somebody get Holly a copy of the Demanto shoot tape!

TOURNAMENT FINALSGavin Quest d. Jay Lethal to win the 2009 J-Cup Tournament in an exciting bout.
After the show, Quest celebrated, only for Nicky Oceans & Corvis Fear to rain in on his parade. This set-up a triple threat NWS mid-card title match for 5/30. Oceans & Fear looked to send a message, but the message was returned to sender by Quest.
