WWC held their May 29 event, the main show of the Summer Madness Tour, at the Pepin Cestero Arena at Bayamon. The friends of the WWC Forum, specially Havoc, reported the action, as follow;1-El Comandante defeated one member of the Latin Jit Squad.
2-Angel defeated Rikochet & Lynx & Tommy Diablo to retain the Junior Title on a Fata Four Way match.
3-Idol Stevens defeated Joe Don Smith with help from Mr. Escobar.
4-Black Pain defeated Chris Joel. Postmatch attack against Joel. Steve Joel came to help his brother.
5-BJ vs. Abbad ended on a no contest.
6-Mr. Escobar defeated Chicano. Confusing final as Los Fugitivos turned on Chicano and Abbad ended helping Chicano after the attack by Los Fugitivos, Mr. Escobar and Jose Chaparro.
7-Carlitos defeated Noriega and retained the Puerto Rican Title. Originally Carlitos scored a DQ victory after being fouled but he demanded the match to end by pinfall, which ended with a 787 and a seated senton.
8-The Universal Title ended being held up after a match between Universal Champion Scott Steiner vs. Ray Gonzalez. Jose Chaparro came in and tried to blind Ray with powder, but Ray kicked his hand and Chaparro ended blinding himself. Steiner attacked referee Artache thinking he attacked Ray. Referee Angel fashion came in and did a two count after Ray applied the Fenix Landing on Scott. Fashion was accidentally knocked, so a third referee, Gemelo Vargas, came in to officiate the match. Ray and Scott continued their war outside the ring and Vargas ended being attacked as well. Wrestlers from both sides came to separate them and WWC President Victor Jovica announced that the title has been held up and there will be a rematch next Sunday, June 6 at the same building.
