WWC held their September 25 event, named Septiembre Negro (Black September) at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum. Daniel Cordero and The Thruth reported the action as follow, in front of a reported crowd on close to 1200 fans attending the event.
1-On a fatal fourway match, Niche defeated Angel, Lynx y Rikochet. That way he retained the WWC Junior Heavyweight Champion
2-Chris Joel defeated El Comandante.
3-Black Eose defeated La Morena, subbing for Debbie Ross, who was announced no showed as being ill.
4-On a Battle Royal to crown a new WWC Caribbean Champion, ended with Japanese wrestler Hideo Saito winning the titie. Other participants were (in order of elimination) Love Adonis, Dave D’Jour, New Adorable, Black Pain, Fidel Sierra, Joe Don Smith, Chris Joel, Abbad and Hiram Tua.
5-BJ & Chicano defeated Thunder & Lightning to win the tag team titles. Thunder & Lightning entered the rig wearing BJ and Chicano similar clothes, while the other team entered with similar cloths they use regularly. Match came to an end when Chicano unmasked Lightning, so there BJ small packaged Lightning to win the match and the titles. During this match, Lightning was arguing with a fan who insulted him several times, something that don’t go with him as he, according to his gimmick, is a def wrestler who never has given an interview due to that.
6-On a match where the winner becomes the top contender for the Universal Title, Joe Bravo faced Gilbert and match ended in a no contest double DQ. During the match former WWC Universal champion Bryan appeared and watched part of the action.
7-On what was described as the 2010 Match of the year, Carlito Caribbean Cool defeated El Mega Triple Campeon (AAA’s El Mesias). That was wrestling, a brawl. Lots of near falls counts. After the match Mega Campeoan attacked Carlito, stating that he haven’t finish him and want to destroy him. Fans was divided on the match and were involved on it all the time the match took place.
8-On a match for the Puerto Rican Title, Carlitos defeated Orlando Colon to win the title. That was a cage match and Orlando dominated the first 10 minutes of action,where Carlitos was bleeding. Match ended when Carlitos applied the figure 4 leglock and Orlando quits.
