WWC held their January 10 event at the Pepin Cestero Arena at Bayamon. Both Havoc and Norymar, of the WWC Forum, did reported the action as follow:
1-Angel defeated Aquiles.
2-Killer Kat defeated Sweet Nancy with a fast count by heel referee Mr. Mac when Nancy tried to do a supplex on Kat, but Mac helped Kat to do a supplex on Nancy.
3-El Profe defeated Ricky Rubio (aka Mini Profe, now using the last name Rubio as a spoof on former Universal Champion Bryan, whose real last name is Rubio). Last moment saw Profe trying to use a knux but referee saw him. Referee argued with him and while this took place Mr. X came in and loaded his wrestling boot and used it against Ricky. Profe let the referee get the object and then pass to cover Rubio for the win.
4-Los Aereos Hiram Tua and Carlitos defeated Johnny Styles & Ricky Reyes. After the match Carlitos and Reyes brawled.
5-Ray Gonzalez defeated Charles Evans. First Ray used powder to blind Evans, and later used the title belt to attack Evans. Then, once again, a masked man came in and tried to interfere, but Ray kikcked him out of the ring. Ray, later, pinned Evans.
6-BJ defeated Steve Corino by DQ. Match started with Corino and Mr. Mac coming out of the dressing room in street clothes and with a plastic bag. Corino told BJ that in the bag he had the title belt and that he have it to return it to him and that he don't want to wrestle tonight. BJ went to them to take the bag with the title (was shown on TV that on the 1/03 event Jose Chaparro ran with the belt out of the building with the belt). When BJ was about to take the bag, was attacked by Corino, who undressed to reveal his wrestling clothes under the street clothes and attacked him. Referee ended the match by DQ because Mr. Mac interfered so many times during it.
7-Huracan Castillo & Rico Suave defeated Thunder & Lightning to win the WWC Universal Title. Final came when Thunder was about to spear Castillo, but Castillo moved and Thunder speared the referee. Mr. Mac came in and did a extra quick count and declared Suave and Castillo as winners and new champions. By the way, Suave and Castillo played heels on the match.
