IWA held their January 24 event at the Lauro Davila Coliseum at Toa Alta and Luis Santiago of IWA reported the action as follow:
1-El Niche defeated Escorpion on 9:21. After the match La Revolucion attacked Niche until Chicano did the save.
2-Joe Bravo defeated Chris Joel on 12:34 using a metal knux.
3-Amazona defeated Latin Boy on an intergender match on 10:47.
4-Ravishing Richard Rondon defeated Rick Stanley on 11:59 using the ropes as leverage. After the match Stanley explained the referee what took place but there Rondon attacked him. Stanley applied a spinebuster but Noel came to attack him. The heels continued their attack until Chris Joel did the save. Joel and Stanley left separated back to the dressing room.
5-On a ladder match, with a title contract over the ring, La Cruz del Diablo wrestled The Arabian Menace (Zaer Arafat & Hardam Kadafi) to a no contest as promoter Edwin Vazquez ruled at 15:12, as Iman Ali, the Arabians manager, as well Mr. Pleasure Raymond Sales, a mysterious masked man, Spectro and Rainstein interfered.
6-On a handicap match Chicano defeated Bacano & Balbuena & Eli Rodriguez on 14:25. After the match there was a confrontation between Joe Bravo and Chicano, where a challenge was issued for next week. Vazquez accepted that the match will take place next week, but assigned Dennis Rivera as special referee.
7-Los Dueños de la Malicia defeated Bison & Miguel Perez on 16:38 to win the IWA Tag Team Titles. Richard Rondon and a hooded man interfered.
Next event was announced to be on January 31 at the Angel Mercado Coliseum at Sabana Grande.
