WWC held their August 8 event at the Jose Aponte Coliseum at Aibonito. Havoc, of the WWC Forum, reported the action as follow:
1-Angel defeated Adorable Florence.
2-Thunder & Ligtning defeated La Seguridad de La Pesadilla.
3-Double Image defeated D'Jour. Usually twins gimmick match.
4-Carlitos wrestled Ricky Reyes to a 30 minutes time limit draw to retain the Junior Title.
5-Tommy Diablo defeated Zafiro on a match where Chicky Starr no showed and Diablo did some speech and Zafiro appeared and did a challenge. After the match Diablo used Wally to attack Zafiro.
6-On a match with two referees Orlando Colon wrestled BJ to a no contest on a match for the Universal Title. First, a referee did a count with BJ pinning Orlando, but the outside referee said that Orlando had a feet over the rope, so match had to continue. Later Orlando scored a pinfall vicotry, but the outside referee said Orlando used an object. Later they wrestled and brawled all over the place so referee counted them out.
7-Ricky Steamboat Jr. defeated Hiram Tua on a match where Orlando Colon came to see the match and instead took advantage d and attacked Ricky everytime he had an opportunity. Steamboat was attacked after the match but D'Jour, BJ and Angel did the save.
8-Shane The Glamour Boy defeated Idol Stevens, finally, to win the Puerto Rican Title. Stevens argued with the referee when the referee saw him trying to use the belt to knock Shane, but the referee stoped him so Shane did an inside cradle move to score the victory and win the title.
