IWA held their August 16 event at the Cosme Beitia Arena at Cataño. The show was the main show of the tour Golpe de Estado. Results, as provided by the promotion, were: A Speech was done by promoter Edwin Vazquez and his friends of The Dominican Revolution. 1-Dean Ross defeated AP Dynamite to become the new Ecuador's WAR promotion champion. 2-Bacano defeated Chris Joel to become the new Puerto Rican champion. 3-Empio & Cuervo defeated Cold & Vertigo. 4-Dennis Rivera deefated Noel Rodriguez. After the match Rick Stanley came in and attacked Rivera. Savio Vega came to rescue his brother, but was surprised as well. Then AJ Castillo & Gilbert came in. AJ Castillo is Huracan Castillo Jr. son. 5-Chicano & Bryan defeated The Arabians Connection to become the new Tag Team Champions. 6-Joe Bravo defeated Savio Vega to win back the already held up IWA Undisputed title. 7-Diabolico defeated Rick Stanley on a cage match to retain the Intercontinental Title. 8-Chicano & Bryan vs. Joe Bravo & Bacano ended as a no contest as wrestlers from both sides interfered. It was a cage match and at a moment of the match teh referee was knocked, so the keys were get by members of one of the teams who interfered.
