NEWSAAA announced the first two groups today that will compete at Arena Naucalpan on 2/23 to determine the first two combatants at the Rey de Reyes show in March and they are the following.

Grupo B: Heavy Metal vs. Joe Lider vs. Hector Garza vs. Toscano
Marisela Pena announced that she wanted El Consejo to compete in the tourney so they can get what’s coming to them by AAA’s finest.

2. Demus 3:16/Nitrito/Pequeno Olimpico defeated Aereo/Pequeno Halcon/Ultimo Dragoncito

4. Black Warrior/Hijo del Fantasma/Metro defeated Mr. Aguila/Kraneo/Vangelis
5. La Tercia Sensacion (Marco Corleone/Maximo/Rush) beat La Triada del Terror (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto) and Marco challenged Averno again to a shot at the CMLL Trios Titles with Averno saying that Arena Coliseo isn’t worthy of the match but next Sunday’s show happens to be at Arena Mexico so there is that.

5. Toscano/Trauma I/Veneno beat La Familia Dinamita (Cien Caras Jr./Hijo del Mascara Ano Dos Mil/Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr.) by DQ when the Dinamitas assaulted the referee when he was trying to stop them from destroying Toscano.

6. Atlantis/Blue Panther/Solar I defeated Negro Casas/Negro Navarro/Ultimo Guerrero by DQ when Negro fouled BP.
