NEWSAAA announced on Thursday that Chessman was going under medical evaluations regarding his fall off the top of the cage last Sunday at Triplemania and that he is out of action indefinitely.
CMLL announced last night that they will be holding their annual Universal Title Tournament next week with all of their champions competing to determine who is the champion of champions for the year.
Chris Masters will be making his return to Mexico on 9/30 where he will work a Mexico vs. The World show at Arena Lopez Mateos.

Konnan came out with Daga & Psicosis Original and they tried to bully Joaquin until Par-K made the save.

3. The Inferno Rockers (Devil Rocker/Machine Rocker/Soul Rocker) beat Drago/La Parka Jr./Zorro
4. Joe Lider/L.A. Par-K/Psycho Clown defeated Hijo del Texano/Psicosis Original/Silver Kain (subbing for Octagon who was too injured to compete after Triplemania)
5. Cibernetico & El Mesias beat Perro Aguayo Jr. & Halloween who took the place of Hector Garza who was promptly destroyed by Los Perros before the match and was stretchered out in a bloody mess.
6. Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr. defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. – MA2K wore his mask the entire match here but Doc ripped it off afterwards which brought a beatdown by El Consejo & Silver Kain until Cibernetico, Mesias, and the bandaged up Hector Garza made the save.
CMLL 8/10 – Arena Mexico1. Hombre Bala Jr. & Super Halcon Jr. beat Bobby Zavala & Disturbio
2. Fuego/Rey Cometa/Triton defeated Puma King/Raziel/Sangre Azteca by DQ when Puma ripped off Cometa’s mask.
3. Lady Apache/Princesa Blanca/Princesa Sugei beat Dark Angel/Goya Kong/Luna Magica when Apache used the ropes to pin Angel.

Lightning Match: Rey Bucanero defeated Angel de Oro
5. Atlantis/La Mascara/Mistico II beat Dragon Rojo/Euforia/Ultimo Guerrero with Mistico going over UG like the old days. Dragon & UG pushed each other afterwards.
6. La Peste Negra (Felino/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla) defeated Mr. Aguila/Psicosis/Volador Jr. when Niebla fouled and pinned Volador. Niebla had ripped up Volador’s Batman outfit during the match so Volador demanded a mask match again but again Niebla declined.

5. Fuerza Guerrera/Pirata Morgan/Barba Roja/Hijo del Pirata Morgan beat La Familia de Tijuana (Damian 666/Bestia 666/Super Nova/X-Fly) by DQ when Pirata faked a foule by Damian after fouling him himself. This was a rudo style match and both teams threw around cage match challenges afterwards.
