NEWSThere was a show on Saturday that had been billed for the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado promoted by a Lucha Libre Denver which used to promote shows in the Phoenix area in the past and had some successful shows but this one was not one of them as both Hijo del Santo & L.A. Par-K announced on Facebook that they weren’t going to be there with Par-K & Santo saying that they wasn’t even booked in the first place. The promotion had announced earlier in the week that Blue Demon Jr. was taking Santo’s spot but he wasn’t there either along with Hijo del Rey Misterio, Mascara Sagrada, Rayo de Jalisco Jr., or Tinieblas Jr. who had been previously announced. Some disgruntled fans took to the promotion’s Facebook page to vent their frustrations saying this is why people don’t trust independent wrestling and it’s a sad truth.
CMLL announced on Thursday that their 80th Anniversario will take place on 9/13 at Arena Mexico which is presumably main evented by Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero in a mask match.

En Busca de un Idolo – Finals: Vangelis beat Valiente with some assistance from Virus which angered Valiente enough to be held back by Fuego & Stuka Jr. afterwards then he refused his 2nd place trophy.

6. Mr. Aguila/Negro Casas/Rey Bucanero defeated Blue Panther/Maximo/Rush by DQ when Rush fouled Negro in a wild brawl that saw Rush & Negro go into the crowd to brawl. Rush was fantastic here pissing off the fans and Negro who accused him of roiding afterwards.
