Octagon & Fuerza Guerrera were on Tercera Caida last night on TVC Deportes and talked about their 23 year long feud which will be rekindled this Sunday on the WWL show in Mexico City and Octagon confirmed that he is now an independent contractor and no longer employed by AAA. Octagon said that he became free on March 1st and he is excited to be able to get back to work especially against his old rivals. Octagon was asked about possibly returning to CMLL where he became a star in 1990 and he said that he felt like his relationship with Paco Alonso was fine enough to return some day (yeah right) but he has no plans to return at the moment. Fuerza openly mentioned that he wasn’t sure that Octagon even owned his name which didn’t get any statement from Octagon but the truth is that AAA owns the trademark to the name until 2017.

Speaking of WWL, Mil Mascaras is replacing Blue Demon Jr. on all of the WWL shows this weekend most likely due to Demon signing with AAA.
