NEWS
I reported almost 2 weeks ago that AAA rudo announcer Arturo Rivera was in the hospital due to a lung infection and he was in stable condition but since then he has had some setbacks as he has been suffering from a really bad fever and underwent surgery twice to clear up his infection but they still haven’t found the origin of his infection so he will remain in the hospital until that happens.
Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr. who had surgery on his back in late January and was supposed to be out of action for a year made his return to the ring last week saying that his dedication and passion for lucha libre has been the ultimate cure for his problems and the doctors have been shocked at how well he has recovered. Coming back 10 months early after a back surgery isn’t the smartest thing I think.

2. Horus/Millenium/Robin defeated Espiritu Maligno/Los Hombres del Camoflaje (Artillero y Super Comando)
3. Torneo Forjando del Idolo – Grupo Alpha: Hijo del Signo [3] beat Hombre Bala Jr. [0]
4. Torneo Forjando del Idolo – Grupo Alpha: Diamante [3] defeated Puma King [0]
5. Sagrado/Toscano/Valiente beat Negro Casas/Shigeo Okumura/Nobuo Yoshihashi
6. Mascara Dorada/La Sombra/”Strongman” Jon Anderson defeated Alebrije/Hirooki Goto/Psicosis by DQ when Goto fouled Strongman.
CMLL 4/12 – Arena Mexico
1. Astro Boy & Bengala beat Disturbio & Zayco
2. El Bronco/Nitro/Bobby Zavala defeated Metalico/Starman/Super Halcon Jr.
3. Torneo Forjando del Idolo – Grupo Bravo: Palacio Negro [3] beat Rey Cometa [0] but Negro ended up busting his face on a dive.
4. Torneo Forjando del Idolo – Grupo Bravo: Angel de Oro [3] defeated Escorpion [0]
5. Brazo de Plata/Hijo del Fantasma/Sangre Azteca beat La Triada del Terror (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto)
6. CMLL Tag Titles: Dragon Rojo & Ultimo Guerrero defeated La Mascara & La Sombra to retain their titles.
