Psycho Clown announced on Thursday that CMLL had barred their talent from working the El Brazo Tribute show Saturday at Arena Neza due to their policy of not allowing them to work in the same ring as AAA talent which is total BS because we have had examples of such happening this year. They will be at the show and will be signing autographs but total bush league since this was a tribute show for a beloved figure in the sport.
Rey Cometa suffered an arm injury last Sunday presumably at the Chilanga Mask show last Sunday at Arena Coliseo de Coacalco against Impulso and will be out of action for the next month.
The 7th annual CMLL Bodybuilding Contest took place Wednesday afternoon at Arena Mexico and for some of the luchadores and most of the front office this is the most important event of the year for the promotion. Seriously there is a lot of talent who put more work and effort to win this contest than to look good actually wrestling. Before the show there was an tumbling exhibition featuring Arkangel de la Muerte’s students which included some famous sons such as Hijo del Villano III, Villano III Jr., and Mr. Niebla Jr.
On to the awards here are the categories and how they placed
Principiantes Category:
1st Place – Dragon Lee II (yes the brother of Rush & Mistico II)
2nd Place – Pequeno Olimpico
3rd Place – Stukita
Intermedios Category:
1st Place – Electrico
2nd Place – Akuma
3rd Place – Puma King
Femenil Category:
1st Place – Dalys la Caribena (finally winning the competition after finishing 2nd the previous 4 years)
2nd Place – Dark Angel (who was announced the day before not to be competing only to show up and lose for the first time)
3rd Place – Estrellita
Avanzados Category:
1st Place – Astral
2nd Place – Sensei
3rd Place – Tama Tonga
Overall Winner – Astral (if you have seen his pics from Facebook then you knew this guy was taking this easy)
RESULTS
AAA 11/22 – Plaza de Toros San Marcos de Aguascalientes (TV taping)
1. Taya Valkyrie/Black Mamba/Yuriko beat Fabi Apache/Pasion Kristal/Pimpinela Escarlata with Yuriko going over Kristal wanting a hair match afterwards which all the others want with each other as well….smell the cage match.
2. Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy/Joe Lider/Nino Hamburguesa) defeated Eterno/Steve Pain/Pentagon Jr. (subbing for Juventud Guerrera who is in Ecuador for a show)
3. La Secta Bizarra (Cuervo/Escoria/Espiritu) beat The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown/Murder Clown/Psycho Clown) by DQ thanks to Hijo del Tirantes. El Consejo came out afterwards and said they were getting the shot at the AAA Trios Titles because Dorian Roldan was sending La Secta to Japan.
4. El Consejo (Hijo del Fantasma/Hijo del Texano/Silver King) defeated Fenix/Los Güeros del Cielo (Angelico & Jack Evans)
5. Daga/Parka Negra/Psicosis Original beat Perro Aguayo Jr./Cibernetico/La Parka Jr. – Perro tried not to fight with Daga & Psicosis but they turned on him and it turned into a beatdown before Konnan ran out trying to help but they got him until Zorro ran out and cleaned house. Ciber told Perrito that he doesn’t trust Konnan but Perrito said that he trusted them both.
CMLL 11/22 – Arena Mexico
1. Hombre Bala Jr. & Super Halcon Jr. beat Disturbio & Guerrero Negro Jr.
2. Dalys la Caribena/Princesa Blanca/La Seductora defeated Dark Angel/Goya Kong/Silueta
3. Angel de Oro/Stuka Jr./Triton beat Misterioso II/Shigeo Okumura/Virus
4. Kraneo/Psycho Ripper (Psicosis with a new look)/Vangelis defeated Atlantis/Blue Panther/La Mascara – After the match all the bodybuilding contest winners came out and posed in their speedos.
5. Negro Casas beat Rush clean with a Casita and afterwards they agreed to a hair match soon.
6. Euforia/Ultimo Guerrero/Volador Jr. defeated Los Estetas del Aire (Mascara Dorada/Mistico II/Valiente) with a big angle going on as Volador had issues with UG but eventually went over Mistico with his own Mistica. Volador then shook hands with Mistico after the match before Mistico got jumped by Los Guerreros which saw Volador making the save but he was outgunned until Kraneo & Psycho Ripper made the save for him. Ripper then yelled at Volador that they have saved him way too much and he never thanks them for it so he walked away from them.

3. Lumberjacks with straps Match: Fenix/Lolita/Mascarita Divina beat Pentagon Jr./La Jarochita/Mini Charly Manson
4. 3 Way Bull Terrier Match: Silver King defeated Electroshock & Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr. after fouling Electro then touching the 4 corners.
5. Relevos Increibles: Monster Clown/La Parka Jr./Chessman beat Murder Clown/Psycho Clown/Hijo del Texano after the Clowns turned on Texano.
IWRG 11/21 – Arena Naucalpan
1. Atomic Star & Electro Boy beat Seiya & Sky Angel
2. Anubis Black/Arana de Plata/Epidemia defeated Emperador Azteca/Hip Hop Man/Latigo
3. #1 Contender Match por el IWRG Intercontinental Lightweight Title: Douki beat Dragon Celestial
4. Super Libre: Golden Magic defeated Canis Lupis in a bloody match with mask ripping and Magic demanded a mask match afterwards.
5. Triangular de Parejas: Alan Extreme & Veneno beat Las Traumas I y II and Eterno & Super Nova in another bloody match.
