NEWS Hector Garza stated yesterday that a pact has been made between him, Shocker, Black Warrior, & Ultimo Guerrero that they would put aside their quarrels for one night to take care of the Japanese invaders (Jushin Thunder Liger, NO LIMIT (Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro Takahashi)/Shigeo Okumura) on the 76th Anniversary show at Arena Mexico on Friday night. Garza said that his partners want to prove to the Japanese that they can unite to prove their supremacy above Japan showing the fans yet again that Mexico is #1 in the world of wrestling. Garza said that he hopes this pact will be respected by the rudos but you can never know what they would do as he & Shocker have been burned in the past. Mini Fantasy/Shockercito/Ultimo Dragoncito defeated Nitrito/Pierrothito/Universito Dos Mil 3. Hooligan/Loco Max/Polvora beat Los Angeles Celestiales (Angel Azteca Jr./Angel de Oro/Angel de Plata) 4. Atlantis/Hijo del Lizmark/Misterioso II defeated Maximo/Metro/Rouge – Rouge was stretchered out again after missing a dive. 5. CMLL Trios Titles: Hector Garza/Hijo del Fantasma/La Mascara beat Los Hijos del Averno (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto) to retain their titles. Averno thought he won the titles after pinning Garza but he wasn’t the captain this time as it was La Mascara so the others knocked off Ephesto & Mephisto. Blue Panther/Shocker/Ultimo Guerrero beat Jushin Thunder Liger/NO LIMIT (Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro Takahashi) with UG going over Liger clean with the Guerrero Special to win. Steel Cage Match where the loser would unmask: Monster Truck eliminated Truck Monster to take his mask and Truck unmasked as Roberto Maldonado, 31-years-old, 10 years experience from Tijuana.
