Mr. Aguila had some choice words regarding Maximo building up their participation in the big Infierno del Ring cage match on CMLL’s 78th Anniversario show at Arena Mexico saying that Maximo not only defames lucha libre with his ugly body but he is an offense to the gay community with his fake exotico gimmick. Aguila said that Maximo comes from a great wrestling family and should be dedicated to being a great wrestler not some guy pretending to be a woman or gay. Aguila said that he respects gay people and Maximo should be ashamed of himself. Aguila went on to say that Maximo confessed to him years ago that he was a fan of the way he wrestled but his actions has been the complete opposite. Aguila then brought up Rey Bucanero being in the match and said that he owes him some payback for taking his hair last year in Arena Mexico after he used an illegal piledriver which Aguila blamed the commission for not seeing causing him to lose. Aguila said that he would take someone’s hair to bring back as a trophy for his fans.

1. Robin & Soberano (subbing for Trueno) beat Apocalipsis & El Bronco
2. Dragon Lee/Hombre Bala Jr./Super Halcon Jr. defeated Los Rayos Tapatios I y II/Bobby Zavala
3. Arkangel de la Muerte/Escandalo/Loco Max beat Angel de Plata/Fuego/Stuka Jr. with Arkangel using the ropes to pin Stuka.
4. Dragon Rojo/Misterioso II/Virus defeated Black Warrior/Metro/Toscano after El Black walked out on his teammates again.
5. Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla/Ultimo Guerrero beat Atlantis/Blue Panther/Rush when Niebla ripped off Atlantis’ mask and pinned him. Atlantis wanted a singles match afterwards but he just left the ring.
