NEWSHijo del Espanto was on Tercera Caida on Thursday night and said that he owns the name of Espanto Jr. and not CMLL or the luchador using the name which is interesting since this Espanto Jr. is the son of the original Espanto Jr. but his father had to get permission from the family to use the name. Hijo del Espanto said that no one has asked for permission yet and he plans on taking legal action if necessary.
Lluvia who has had a bad knee for a while now officially had surgery on it last week and will be out of action for at least 9-12 months.
Mr. Niebla & Volador Jr. were suspended this week for their use of a steel chair and juice without the bookers of Arena Puebla knowing about it and they will be held out of action for 2 weeks retroactive to last Monday.

Cuadrangular de Tercias – Semifinals: La Tercia Sensacion (Marco Corleone/Maximo/Rush) defeated Mr. Aguila/Black Warrior/Olimpico

Cuadrangular de Tercias – Semifinals: Dragon Rojo/Rey Escorpion/Ultimo Guerrero beat Felino/Negro Casas/Rey Bucanero (subbing for Mr. Niebla)

Cuadrangular de Tercias – Finals: Dragon Rojo/Rey Escorpion/Ultimo Guerrero defeated La Tercia Sensacion (Marco Corleone/Maximo/Rush) with an interesting finish as Scorp pulled UG off as he had Marco pinned and Rojo stole the pin. Scorp & Rojo then challenged the CMLL Trios Champs to a shot at their titles afterwards with another partner as UG walked to the back conflicted. Maximo tried to get UG to turn tecnico but he refused while Rush accepted the title match.

Torneo por el Universal Title – Finals: Damian el Terrible beat Hiroshi Tanahashi to win the title. Rush came out trying to start a fight but he was held back as Terrible celebrated.
