Hector Garza who became one of the biggest lucha libre crossover stars of the late 90′s died today at the age of 43 just 17 days short of his 44th birthday due to complications from lung cancer which has been battling since last year. More on this in tomorrow’s lucha report but a very sad day in the world of wrestling.

On the heels of Pesadilla announcing he would be going to NOAH for their Jr. Heavyweight Tag Tournament in July, Super Crazy announced Friday that he would be joining him and will team up with his student.

2. Flamita/Fabi Apache/Octagoncito defeated Eterno/Taya Valkyrie/Mini Charly Manson
3. Angelico & Jack Evans beat Crazy Boy & Joe Lider
4. Escoria/Fenix/La Parka Jr. defeated Daga/Parka Negra/Pentagon Jr. but Villano IV ran out and helped the rudos destroy the tecnicos afterwards.
5. The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown/Murder Clown/Psycho Clown) beat El Consejo (Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr./Silver Kain/Villano IV) with Parka getting payback on V-4 by attacking him allowing Psycho to pin him.
6. Cibernetico defeated Perro Aguayo Jr. after a Garra Cibernetica (chokeslam) on a pile of steel chairs. Perrito wanted another fall but Joaquin Roldan said he must wait for Triplemania.

Eita, Carta Brava Jr et Mike Segura def. Freelance, Saturno et Black Mamba
Eita est le lutteur japonais de la Dragon Gate qui poursuit actuellement son cursus au Mexique. La dernière fois que Mike Segura avait été vu à la AAA, c’était en 1997 !
Trios Match
Fabi Apache, Flamita et Octagoncito def. Taya Valkyrie, Eterno et Mini Charly Manson
Parejas Match
Jack Evans et Angelico def. The Mexican Power (Joe Lider et Crazy Boy)
Match décrit comme très bon opposant quatre tecnicos.

Fenix, La Parka et Escoria def. Daga, La Parka Negra et Pentagon Jr
Après le match, Villano V arrive et aide les rudos (l’équipe perdante) à attaquer les tecnicos. Villano V dit que son équipe est prète pour Triplemania. Il ne dit cependant pas lesquels de ses frères occuperont les deux places restantes. Villano V indique cependant que leurs adversaires seront L.A. Park, Octagon et Electroshock. La présence de ce dernier n’était jusque là pas connue.

Los Psycho Circus (Monster Clown, Murder Clown et Psycho Clown) def. Villano IV et El Consejo (Silver King et Mascara Ano 2000 Jr)
L.A. Park est venu pendant le match et a attaqué VIllano IV.
Mano a Mano
Cibernetico (w. Escoria) def. Perro Aguayo Jr (w. Daga)
Le president de la AAA, Joaquin Roldan, vient féliciter Cibernetico après le match. Perro Aguayo Jr demande un autre tombé. Le président lui répon,d à Triplemania.

3. La Triada del Terror (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto) beat Blue Panther/Rey Cometa/Stuka Jr. by DQ when Averno faked a foule by BP who challenged him to a hair match afterwards but Averno declined.

En Busca de un Idolo: Hijo del Fantasma defeated Sangre Azteca with Fantasma getting a total score of 27 and Azteca a total score of 22.

En Busca de un Idolo: Valiente beat Misterioso II by DQ after he refused to release an armbar. Valiente got a total score of 21 while Misterioso who managed to piss off every judge there with his attitude ended up with a total score of 7. Misterioso at one point during the scoring kept looking at the fans even after getting pelted with a drink which really angered Ultimo Guerrero.
6. Mr. Aguila/Negro Casas/Volador Jr. defeated Brazo de Plata/Mascara Dorada/Rush with the rudos cheating to win. Rush was so upset that he challenged Negro to a hair match which he laughed off. Porky also challenged Aguila to a hair match as well. Let’s see here……Infierno del Ring is coming up in June……time for a cage match.
7. Atlantis/La Mascara/La Sombra beat Shinsuke Nakamura/Pierroth/Ultimo Guerrero with Sombra again going over Nakamura and again challenged him to a shot at his IWGP Intercontinental Title afterwards which Nakamura accepted this time.
