Ari “El Gato” Romero who was one of the big local stars in the Northern part of Mexico (Juarez, Monterrey, Nuevo Laredo) and worked for the major promotions as well as Red Bastien’s WIN in 1989-90 passed away on Sunday at the age of 62 after going into cardiac arrest due to complications from cancer. 3. CMLL Femenil Title: Marcela beat Princesa Sugei to retain her title in what was maybe the best women’s match in the promotion this year.
4. Brazo de Plata/Maximo/Valiente defeated Kraneo/Morphosis/Pierroth by DQ when Kraneo fouled Porky.
5. La Mascara/Shocker/Volador Jr. beat La Peste Negra (Felino/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla) with Negro having some issues with Niebla here.

Fuerza Imperial 12/28 – Gimnasio Churubusco del Distrito Federal
1. Robin & Villano III Jr. beat Los Arqueros I y II
2. Kaving & Kortiz defeated Cross & Stukita
3. Gallego & Romano Garcia beat Marabunta & Marabunta Jr.

6. Atlantis/La Mascara/Shocker defeated Mr. Niebla/Ultimo Guerrero/Villano IV by DQ when V-4 fouled Atlantis and there were mask match challenges thrown around afterwards between Atlantis/Mascara and UG/V-4.

5. Mexican State Trios Titles: Los Gringos VIP (Avisman/Apolo Estrada Jr./Hijo del Diablo) beat Black Terry/Bombero Infernal/Dr. Cerebro to retain their titles.
