In an article about the returning Diamante Azul, it was nonchalantly announced that the annual EMLL Universal Title Tournament will start up after the En Busca de un Idolo tournament ends on 8/21.

Rey Mysterio Jr. will be wearing a Terminator themed costume tomorrow at Verano de Escandalo in Monterrey as part of a tiein with the upcoming Terminator: Genesis movie. There will also be a special video featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger before the match as well and yes this is the same idea as what happened at Wrestlemania this year.

Well it looks like the reason why Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero were pulled from the Arena Lopez Mateos show tonight is because EMLL is running a special sponsored show at Arena Mexico.

5. El Barbaro Cavernario/Felino/Rey Escorpion (subbing for Negro Casas who is out with concussion issues) beat Maximo/Tetsuya Naito/Rush

EMLL 6/12 – Arena Mexico
1. Mercurio & Pequeno Olimpico beat Stukita & Ultimo Dragoncito
2. Arkangel de la Muerte/Hijo del Signo/Shigeo Okumura defeated Oro Jr./Sensei/Soberano
3. Brazo de Plata/Pegasso/Triton beat El Comando Caribeno (Misterioso II/Pierroth/Sagrado)
4. En Busca de un Idolo: Flyer defeated Disturbio with Flyer getting a score of 18 and Disturbio getting a score of 21.
5. En Busca de un Idolo: Blue Panther Jr. beat Esfinge with BP getting a score of 26 and Esfinge getting a score of 32. Ultimo Guerrero was the guest judge and the theme of the scoring tonight was Hijo del Gladiador loving tanned second generation guys, Shocker ripping the same guys and heckling Gladiador with Tirantes basically sleeping his way through.
6. Los Revolucionarios del Terror (Dragon Rojo/Rey Escorpion/Thunder) defeated Los Guerreros Laguneros (Euforia/Gran Guerrero/Ultimo Guerrero) by DQ when Thunder fouled UG.
7. Tetsuya Naito/Rush/La Sombra beat Diamante Azul/Valiente/Volador Jr. when Sombra fouled and pinned Volador.
