WWC held their June 7 event at the Pepin Cestero Arena at Bayamon. Norymar and Havok, from the WWC Forum, reported the action as follow:
1-Double Image defeated D'Jour on a battle between twins wrestlers.
2-BJ defeated Johnny Styles. At the beginning of the match Steve Corino was sawn from the top level of the building and signaled BJ as he was watching the match. After winning with the RKO, BJ took the microphone and said he is focused on winning the Universal Title.
3-Angel 'The Beast Man' defeated Mr. X with a top rope bodypress.
4-Tommy Diablo defeated Carlitos and Ricky Reyes on a Three Way Match to retain the Junior Heavyweight Title.
5-Orlando Colon defeated Ray Gonzalez. A lot of talking on the pre-match action. Orlando came in and told Ray that due to his talking, his friends, his teammates and his fans are against him, as Ray makes them believe that he is La Pesadilla. He added the he is no coward and that he will support Ray on his feud against La Pesadilla, so he called Ray out of the building, with Ray replying that he must be a very brave man and say to the fans 'I'm La Pesadilla, so what? Then match started, with the masked security crew of La Pesadilla (two masked overweight men) interfering, but Orlando attacked him. later, Jose Chaparro came in and Ray attacked him, so Orlando took advantage and sidekicked Ray for the win. Then Orlando told him that he will expect Ray to keep his hair against La Pesadilla (Anniversary match between them would be a hair vs. mask match), so Orlando Colon would be on his corner. Then Ray replied that he expect Orlando top be with him ringside later on the show to both see the match between La Pesadilla & Idol Stevens against Thunder & Lightning.
After the intermission Chaparro came in and began to talk about the open challenge for the WWE Titles on the July 11 Anniversary show. He said he will be bringing on a tag team from Mexico. Then Shane The Canadian Glamour Boy came in and said he was talking with his mobile phone to his brother Sean (Sean Morley? aka Val Venis, who was his tag team partern on WWC from 1995-1997), so both can do the challenge too. Then Thunder & Lightning came in and Thunder was talking about their great matches on WWC and added that he already faced a team of Carlito and Ray Gonzalez and that they already beated them, and added that they are well deserved that title shot too.
6-Steve Corino defeated Shane The Glamour Boy. Jose Chaparo came in before match started and called Angel Fashion (one of the referees) that he has 10 seconds to left the ring as Jovica wasn't at the building and now he is on charge of the WWC situations. He added that the referee would be Mr. Mac, and Mr. Mac came in and said lost his hair and was owned money by the promotion, something that Chaparro doesn;t liked, so he pushed Mac. But Mac replied back and after some talking Mac ended as being the referee. At first Mac was impartial, but at a moment that saw Shane doing his elbow from heaven to Corino, Mac acted as injuring his hand doing the count. Chaparro interfered and Shane distracted with him and Chaparro, moment where Mac put on Corino's glove and when he was about to attack Shane with it, referee Angel Fashion came in and attacked Mac. After that situation ended, Mac ordered the bell and declared Corino as winner by DQ. Later Corino, who ran out from the ring, returned and brought some money to Mr. Mac.
7-Thunder & Lightning defeated La Pesadilla & Idol Stevens by DQ. La Pesadilla, Idol Stevens and Jose Chaparro. Seconds later came Thunder & Lightning. Ray Gonzalez came to ringside to watch the match, as he promised earlier. Orlando COlon wasn't there. Heels wrestlers, as well La Pesadilla security crew came in. On the match, Idol tagged Pesadilla, so Ray told fans to chat 'PATO' (gay) to Pesadilla. Later Thunder pulled down Idol's tights, and Chaparro ended pulling it on its place as La Pesadilla didn't want to do it. La Pesadilla used a knux and scored the victory pinning Lightning. Ray Gonzalez came in and explained the referee what really took place, so all the heels that were watching the match entered and attacked Ray, Thunder and Lightning.
Orlando Colon did't appeared on ringside as Ray wanted neither came to the rescue..... and he was still on the buiding.
