CMLL held a press conference today announcing the Torneo Forjando del Idolo that is starting at Arena Puebla on 4/11 and will end at Arena Mexico on 5/20 where the young lions will wrestle each other while being mentored by veterans.

Apolo Valdes of mediotiempo.com tweeted that there would be 4 groups led by each mentor and they were announced as follows:

GRUPO DELTA : ANGEL DE PLATA – MAGNUS – POLVORA – FUEGO MAESTRO LAGUNERO: BLUE PANTHER
GRUPO CHARLY: GUERRERO MAYA – METAL BLANCO – DELTA – DRAGON LEE MENTOR: SHOCKER
GRUPO ALFA: Conformado por HIJO DEL SIGNO , HOMBRE BALA – PUMA KING -DIAMANTE MENTOR: NEGRO CASAS
GRUPO BRAVO: ANGEL DE ORO – ESCORPION – REY COMETA – PALACIO NEGRO MENTOR: ULTIMO GUERRERO

They also announced that they would be starting a working agreement with REINA which is a joshi promotion in Japan starting in May.

Mascara Dorada announced at the press conference that he was vacating CMLL Super Lightweight Title and would be moving up to Middleweight.
