NEWSAAA announced weeks ago that they were looking to put someone new in the Abismo Negro gimmick since it’s been over 2 1/2 years since Andres Palomeque who was the original one died and they are going to have what they call the first reality show in lucha libre (which is now false since A&E Mexico is airing El Luchador involving CMLL guys in October) to cast the character. Yesterday the names were leaked out on who will be competing for the role and they are the following: Abadon/Alas de Plata/Argos/Black Fire/Black Mamba/Garra de Aguila/Kronos/Lasserman/Pirata Morgan Jr./Relampago/Ultimo Vampiro. Needless to say there is quite the backlash online from fans regarding this saying this is disrespectful to the memory of the original Abismo Negro.
