* Mason Maddox won a ladder match over Jet Black, Smith Garrett, and the Ugly Ducklings crew of Lance Lude, Colby Corino, and Rob Killjoy. After the match, Lude, Corino, and Killjoy attacked Maddox and left him laying in the ring.
* JT Dunn defeated 2016 ROH Top Prospect winner Lio Rush in a good fast paced athletic match.
* Elijah Evans IV pinned Ethan Case after kicking him low in a grudge match of the former PWX tag team champs.
* CZW star Drew Gulak, accompanied by DJ Hyde (who was dressed in full wrestling gear for some reason) beat Anthony Henry in a match that featured a lot of high level technical wrestling. This was my first time seeing Gulak live and he has a definite old school vibe to him with his serious demeanor and bare bones appearance.
* “Kick to Kill” Cedric Alexander defeated the returning Chris Hero in a great match. Hero looked at least 20 lbs heavier than last I saw him he had the same speed, agility and flexibility he displayed as a King of Wrestling years ago. In a real classy display, after the match, Hero walked through the audience into the bleachers and urged the fans to give Alexander a standing ovation.
* Before the WarGames main event while the crew was setting up the cage, Steve Corino called out Rick Steamboat, saying he’s done everything Steamboat’s done except get a WWE Hall of Fame induction so he was challenging Steamboat because beating him would get him in. The Dragon told him he wasn’t work his energy and he just wanted some attention by calling him out. Corino tried to attack Steamboat as he was leaving the ring, with Steamboat fighting back and hitting him with a double chop. Fun segment that got a big pop from the crowd.
* Team Revolt–Caleb Konley, “Manscout” Jake Manning, Harlem and Lancelot Bravado, and Zane Riley–beat Team Xperience–John Skylar, CW Anderson, Adam Page, Corey Hollis, and Gunner accompanied by Steve Corino–in the War Games: the Match Beyond.
Just a violent brawl from start to finish that came off as fight where 10 guys beating the hell out of each other.
* Great moment in the match was when Lancelot Bravado came out as the tenth man and last one for his team. Corino grabbed his leg as he was getting into the cage, dragged him back out and slammed the cage door in his face so Team Xperience maintained a one man advantage for several more minutes.
* Ethan Case came out and made the save by beating up Corino and running him off. Bravado scaled the cage and hit Team Xperience with a crossbody from the top. Revolt won when Konley made Skyler submit by driving a screwdriver into his face, reminiscent of the Magnum TA-Tully Blanchard “I Quit” match from 85.
